Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed to start immediately process to implement Simhastha Universal Message. All departments should chalk out action plans for this.
The Chief Minister said that all concerning departments should chalk out action plans for this within next 10 days. Chief Secretary will review these action plans. He said that concerning departments should immediately ensure action to implement Simhastha Universal Message Declaration. These mainly include constitution of Happiness Ministry, plantation along banks of Narmada and Kshipra rivers and inclusion of lessons in school syllabus to inculcate spirit of respect for all religions, moral values and increase goodwill towards daughters. Besides, declaration about promotion to Ayurvedic system of medicine, appointment of Yoga teachers in schools, holding candidates ineligible to contest local elections if they do not construct toilet in their house, reduce use of chemical fertilizers and promote organic farming and curb objectionable portrayal of women in advertisements to ensure dignity and prestige of women.
Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa, Principal Secretaries to CM Shri Iqbal Singh Bains and Shri S.K. Mishra and Secretaries to CM Shri Vivek Agrawal and Shri Hari Ranjan Rao attended the meeting.
