"112" अब सिंगल इमरजेंसी नंबर होगा पूरे देश मे -एक जनवरी से शुरू होगा

देश भर में एकल इमरजंसी नंबर ‘112 एक जनवरी से शुरू होगा। इससे उन लोगों को मदद मिल सकेगी जिन्हें पुलिस, एंबुलेंस या अग्मिशमन विभाग की सहायता की जरूरत है। वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारी ने कहा, ‘एकल इमरजेंसी नंबर ‘112’ एक जनवरी से चालू हो जाएगा।’ दूरसंचार मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने सभी आपात सेवाओं के लिए एकल नंबर के प्रावधान को मंजूरी दे दी है। यह अमेरिका में सभी आपात सेवाओं के एक नंबर ‘911’ की तर्ज पर है। खास बात है कि यह सेवा उन सिम या लैंडलाइन पर भी उपलब्ध होगी जिनकी आउटगोइंग सुविधा रोक दी गई। परेशानी में

प्रधानमंत्री के डिजिटल इंडिया कार्यक्रम को लागू करने की दिशा में कदम बढ़ाते हुए रेल मंत्री श्री सुरेश प्रभाकर प्रभु ने आज रेल भवन में आयोजित एक समारोह कचीगुडा (तेलंगाना), रायपुर (छत्‍तीसगढ़) तथा विजयवाड़ा (आंध्रप्रदेश) रेलवे स्‍टेशनों पर हाईस्‍पीड वाईफाई हॉट स्‍पॉट राष्‍ट्र को स‍मर्पित किया। इन स्‍टेशनों के आगन्‍तुकों और यात्रियों के लिए वाईफाई सुविधा रेल मंत्रालय के सार्वजनिक प्रतिष्‍ठान रेल टेल ने गूगल के साथ मिलकर दी है। इस अवसर पर रेलवे बोर्ड के अध्‍यक्ष ए.के. मित्‍तल, मेम्‍बर इलेक्ट्रिकल श्री ए.के. कपूर, बोर्ड के अन्‍य सदस्‍य तथा वरिष्‍ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

Manohar Kumar takes over as Director (Engg) in NPCC

Shri Manohar Kumar has taken over as Director (Engineering) on the Board of National Projects Construction Corporation Limited (NPCC). A graduate from the then Delhi College of Engineering Shri Kumar later did MBA from MDU, Rohtak. He has put in more than three decades of service in Civil Engineering field.

NPCC is a PSU under Ministry Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation. NPCC was established in 1957 as a premier construction company to create necessary infrastructure for economic development of the country in the core sectors of irrigation and water resources, power and heavy industries.

Bangladesh-India review progress of passenger bus services.

Indo-Bangladesh ties gained further strength when officials from the Transport, Home and Foreign Affairs Ministries from both sides met in Shillong on the 4th of May to review the progress of the passenger bus services between the two countries. Transport Commissioners and representatives of Transport Corporations of Assam, West Bengal, Tripura and Meghalaya, and officials of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, External Affair and BSF attended the meeting on the Indian side. Maiden Sea Trial of Kalvari - First Scorpene Class Submarine

Kalvari’, the first of the Scorpene class submarines, being built at the Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd Mumbai (MDL), went to sea for the first time today. The submarine sailed out at about 1000 hrs under her own propulsion for the first sea trial, off the Mumbai coast and during the sortie. A number of number of preliminary tests on the propulsion system, Auxiliary Equipment and Systems, Navigation Aids, Communication Equipment and Steering gear. Various Standard Operating Procedures were also validated for this new class of submarines. The submarine then returned to harbor in the evening.

PM launched Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana at Ballia- 5 crore beneficiaries to be provided cooking gas connections in three years

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today launched the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana at Ballia. The scheme aims to provide cooking gas connections to five crore below-poverty-line beneficiaries over the next three years.

Noting that May 1st is observed as Labour Day, the Prime Minister said that in this century, the aim of all workers across the world should be to unite the world.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, today held a press conference to mark achievement of one crore consumers joining the ‘GiveItUp’ movement, which was started on the call given by the Prime Minister on 27.03.2015 at Úrja Sangam’ conclave. Through the GiveItUp initiative the Government urged the well-off LPG consumers to voluntarily surrender their subsidy and through the subsidy saved the Government promised to give connection to such poor families having no LPG connection.

केंद्रीय विश्‍वविद्यालयों के प्रेरित शिक्षकों का दूसरा बैच ‘इन-रेसिडेंस’ कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत कल से एक सप्‍ताह के लिए राष्‍ट्रपति भवन में प्रवास करेगा

देशभर के केंद्रीय विश्‍वविद्यालयों के 13 प्रेरित शिक्षकों का दूसरा बैच 23 से 29 अप्रैल, 2016 तक ‘इन-रेसिडेंस’ कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत सात दिन के लिए राष्‍ट्रपति भवन में रहेगा। 31 प्रेरित शिक्षकों का पहला बैच पिछले वर्ष जून में राष्‍ट्रपति भवन में एक सप्‍ताह के लिए ठहरा था।

प्रेरित शिक्षकों के लिए ‘इन-रेसिडेंस’ कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत राष्‍ट्रपति द्वारा 5 फरवरी, 2015 को केंद्रीय विश्‍वविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों के वार्षिक सम्‍मेलन में की गई थी। इसी प्रकार के कार्यक्रम लेखकों, कलाकारों, जमीन से जुड़े अन्‍वेषकों और एनआईटी के छात्रों के लिए भी है।
