Shri Chouhan and Smt. Swaraj dedicate and lay foundation stones for works costing Rs. 187 crore
Benefits of Rs. 46 crore distributed
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister of External Affairs Smt. Sushma Swaraj dedicated and laid foundation stones for construction works costing Rs. 187 crore 70 lakh at Nasrullaganj in Sehore district today. They also distributed benefits worth Rs. 46 crore to 77 thousand 247 beneficiaries at Antyodaya Mela.
The Chief Minister lauded works being undertaken in the district under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana. He said that laudable work is being undertaken for preparing detailed roadmap under the scheme by a team headed by the collector. The Chief Minister said that all works under 'Gramoday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan' should be expedited and completed within time-limit as per schedule. He directed to pay special attention to ensuring benefits of schemes to women, disabled persons and other weaker sections of society. The Chief Minister announced to start textile trade in Nasrullaganj polytechnic, name Government College after Swami Vivekananda and upgrade community health centre to Civil Hospital.
Jabalpur-Indore rail line sanctioned
Minister of External Affairs Smt. Swaraj lauded works being undertaken in the district under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana. She said that Sehore Model under this scheme is excellent. She informed that Jabalpur-Indore rail line costing Rs. 4321 crore has been sanctioned. It would provide rail transport facility in entire area. She directed to ensure extension of public welfare schemes to cent percent beneficiaries.
