Dhoom of 280 tribal students in JEE Mains

Out of 597 students studying in class 12 CBSE schools of Tribal Development Department in 20 tribal dominant districts of the state, 280 have cracked JEE Mains. Of these, 212 are tribal students, 41 scheduled cast and 27 OBC students. Thus, these students have reached the first destination of 'Ham Chhoo Lenge Asman'.

Besides, 2 students belonging to primitive tribe Sahariya have also tasted success. Through efforts by Tribal Development Department, these students have got admission in IITs.

For quality education, state level core group has been set up which made constant efforts to help these students get success in national level competitions through a distinct teaching strategy of subject-wise hard spot's basic teaching and teaching material. Every district was given target for final selection of 5 students in national level engineering/medical exams from a select batch of 30 students. Through motivational lecturers and psychological assessment, students were prepared for exams. Teaching materials were obtained from various IITs, Gurukulam, Super-30, Dron Study, M-Learning and pariksha.com and online/offline material, digital library and digital display facilities were also provided to students.

The department through departmental principals/lecturers is also making intensive efforts for students' success in JEE Advance Test on May 22, 2016 and AIPMT text on May 1.
