Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said MPs land bank has 25 thousand hectare for new industries

The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh has created a land bank for new industries with 25 thousand hectare land. The Land Bank has 9000 hectare fully developed land suitable for industries. He said that land details and booking facility are available online through a geographical information based system. Shri Chouhan was addressing a business seminar at Guangzhou in China today. He also discussed initial investment proposals with major Chinese companies and business groups.

It may be noted here that Shri Chouhan has extended his visit by one day in view of overwhelming response by the Chinese industrial groups and investors. Shri Chouhan will meet major representatives of major industries at the industrial town Shenzhen on June 24.

Shri Chouhan met the business heads of Dali Food Company Group and OPPO, a global electronics giant. Welcoming business proposals for investment in Madhya Pradesh, Shri Chouhan also invited them to the Global Investors' Summit to be held in Indore.

Describing the industrial investments as instrumental in employment generation and development, the Chief Minister said that the infrastructure required for the establishment and growth of industries has been well established. Dali Food is willing to set up manufacturing unit in the State while OPPO Company is interested in handset manufacturing.

Shri Chouhan discussed about investment scenario with the foreign trade head of Dali Food Shri Li Yin and Vice President of OPPO Mobile Shri Zhu Gaoling. The Chief Minister invited them to Madhya Pradesh to see for themselves industrial environment and infrastructures. Shri Chouhan also discussed business opportunities with Shri Zhidun Wang who is Vice President of China's major investment company Country Garden Holding.
